Why????

after 5 weeks of my g rossa, 3 weeks of my pinktoe and 4/5 weeks of my b smithi not eating and me expecting pre-molt to my surprise the b smithi ate yday and the others 2day why no eat for this long.

THANKS FOR ANY HELP

tarantulas sometimes fast for a variety of reasons. since you had a group fast, my thought would be something with the t room, ambient temp. humidity etc. but i have been wrong

None of the times listed are inordinately long fasts for those species, but it's possible temperature COULD be a factor. What temperature do you keep them at?

the temps vairy, pinktoe 84 degrees, g rossa 76 degrees and the b smithi 85, these all have slight fluctuations at night,
