Myths shouldn't die, they are by far among the most bizarre, weird, lovely ignorant stuff you can read/heard by not educated (on the arachnid subject I mean) people.

Besides, not every "Myth" is or can be necessary "bad". I worked and I'm working hard for evangelize about the 0.1 Goddess Pelinobius muticus PBUH (Peace Be Upon Her) and we are growing in numbers, more than people believe
