Why do all GBB's have scabs?

I have been looking at some GBB pics on the board and almost all of them have something that looks like a scab on their abdomen. At first I thought it was just mine that had it from maybe kicking some hairs from the previous owner. It cleared up when she molted for me but it's just an annoyance bc she's such a nice looking spider and im OCD so there can't be ANYTHING wrong with her. As I said the majority of the GBB's that i've seen have this so what is it?

Its a mirror patch, a lot of new worlds have it, its perfectly normal.
Adult A. versicolors have a very pronounced mirror patch:

As for GBBs, I see mirror patches on my slings, but their father didnt have one.

They will have one, but on the adult is is not as obvious as on a sling. My male appeared not to have one, but i think its just because it was hard to see.
