I have been in discussion for a week or so with him and he only does trades from what I have gathered. Shipping to his locale with any descent time would cost about fifty bucks and would take about five days. Not exactly the best means, considering the options if caught importing them.

adios,

It is illegal then? I heard as much, but laws change, so I wasn't sure. If there were any legal way of doing it, I would love to, even with the $50 shipping charge.

Brazil doesn't allow export of scorpions to the US (hence the reason Tityus scorpions are not at all common in the pet trade and the reason why I mentioned "options if caught importing them" without such documentation). I'm not sure about other venomous arthropods, but I'm sure Brazil has regs on them as well. It's illegal under their laws and is illegal under out laws without us having an import/export license.

adios,
edw. :(

Penalty, from what I have gathered from the GA state government, is up to five years imprisonment. I'm sure it's a Federal regulation.
