Does your current list still stand at 1 B. smithi and 1 G. rosea?

Based on above list I would go with Gr. aureostriata. It is large, docile and good looking tarantula which you can buy for a fairly low price.

I don't know if you have these, but my votes would be:

-Acanthoscurria geniculata
-Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens

To whoever voted B.vagans:

Khaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan!
I saw a beauty B. vagan on the weekend : velvety jet black, with crimson. It was a stunner. I can't wait for my sling to show some colours !

Yes, I have 2 slings in my care that were freebies (G. aureos -n- B.albop)...I just have no patience, soI was willing to buy a slightly bigger juvie:eek: ...and give the others away as gifts to my friends - a few of my tenants have Ts from me, too, lol.;)
"My" list is as follows
B. smithi male and female
A. avic female
A. geniculata female
B. boehmei female
A. versi unsexed
N. chromatus female

G. aureo. Gets big and pretty, but remains docile. There's seriously no cons with a chaco.

I have the top three T's and my favorite is the G. aureostriata. Granted, my Nhandu is small still but I was told they are alot like N. chromatus in temperment, of which I have a big female. If I want attitude in a T i'd prefer a non hair flicker and go OW. :p

If I picked something not on the list and you want a NW T i'd go with the C. cyaneopubescens *GBB* also.

G. aureostriata

I went with the aureostriata 'cause like the others have said, they are large and docile. I also really like their gold coloring. I am actually expecting one of these little guys today. {D

Good luck choosing. I know it's a hard decision, that's why I usaully buy multiple T's at one time. It's too hard to pick just one, and since you are already paying the shipping you might as well get a couple.
