When to remove the food?

Hi. I have question about my spiderlings. when I drop the food, how long do I have to wait before removing it? There are times I drop the food and they don't eat it immediately but after I check in the morning it's already eaten.

I generally wait 24 hours.

I take it out the next day, or, as xhexdx said, 24h.

I do like xHedx, I wait for a day, if it's still not eaten, I just remove it.
