when exactly is the "growing moment"?

at the moment they finished removing the exuvia, is the new exoskeleton already fully "inflated"?
or are they still growing after that moment?
i can't really tell by watching.

When they molt, the growth is already there (its merely compressed as it needs to fit within that old exoskeleton)...but not totally apparent immediately as the stretching out of the limbs as they harden completes the job.

Fully grown, they are a bit like an accordion, or slinky- except they don’t compress back together.
