There are some species that aren't commonly known/ widespread in the hobby but are gems in their own right. Which of these species are some of your favorites?

I think Monocentropus lambertoni falls into this category. Usually when you see Monocentropus it's usually followed by balfouri. Absolutely stunning tarantulas.

Bumba cabocla
I'd only ever seen photos of these online up until recently, when I saw one at the pet shop. When I just saw photos of them they looked pretty unremarkable, but in person I thought they were unique and interesting. A lot cooler than I expected.

Although Ive never owned one they do look awesome. Definitly on my wish list.

Down this way i think Selenotypus Wallace doesn't get enough appreciation. It's a somewhat commonly available one so i think alot of people tend to skip over them

Here are two that I don't hear much about, but I really like:

Bonnetina sp chamela

Sericopelma sp Santa Catalina

Except they might not be Monocentropus after all...

Anyway, out of the legions of species I have taken a liking to, if I had to pick one on the spot I'd say Hapalopus triseriatus. Don't have one (yet...) and they are apparently pet holes, but gotta love that coloration.

Thanks,

Aphonopelma vorhiesi is a neat little species with nice look. I also like my Hysterocrates laticeps I got as a freebie, grew lightning fast and is my most active spider, sits at the entrance of her burrow day and night.
