What type of insect is this?

    IMG_3462.JPG in the very beginning I thought it was some sort of exotic catepillar because he came from the box of crickets I got. Then I looked at his legs and they arent stumpy like catepillars. Just 6 front legs that leave the tail dragging from behind. Im going to assume its some sort of beetle larvae but I have no idea. It has long red spiky hair as well.
