ok, noobish question but I need a good moisture holding substrate that won't mold, I don't need a brick because I don't need a lot of substrate as it's a juvenile aboreal avic. Avic. Any reccomendations or any body use a certain one based on expirence

I'm really clueless I was going to use the bagged loose coconut fiber I've been using for my Arizona blond but I heard it molds very easy when wet so I'm stuck

OK so like @Venom1080 said your making too many threads on different topics for the same species at once.

So Ive never used PVC before but for arboreals (like Avics) instead I'd just suggest cork bark which you can simply buy a large slab for a relatively cheap price and cut it up til endless pieces for a Juvie Avic like yours.

As for substrate go ahead and use the eco earth brick (assuming thats what your talking about) because the moisture in the substrate for Avics should NEVER be enough to cause mold growth.
