Hey wanted to see what species this was as I am trying to determine husbandry. Originally sold to me as Phrynus mexicanus(which does not appear to exist). This specific individual did pass while I had it but I feel as though I did not give proper husbandry as it may not have been the correct species. So looking for advice before I try to keep another. I included the terrarium as well.

This looks like a Phrynus maesi to me, but it's not easy to see in the photo so I might be a bit off here.
The terrarium looks fine, as long as the substrate is moist. If the area is illuminated (for the live plants, I assume), the whip spider will spend most of its time hiding until the lights go off.
