I've noticed that not a lot of people keep this species even though they're pretty desirable. I recently found a 1" sling for $40 (cha-ching!) and picked it up. It eats like a trash compactor, and I'm hoping to get a sexable molt from it when it molts again... In five more years since it's an Aphonopelma. I'm hoping it gains even a little color, because even at 1" it's pale and fleshy like all the super tiny Aphonopelma slings I have.
But who has experience with this species at all? And are there any little tidbits to know about them or is their care like a generic American Aphonopelma? I've read probably every post on this site about them and can't find much
