what kind of orbweaver is this?

so0rry no pic , but its about 2", i caught on some long grass with a web, its black red, and bright yellow, it looks awesome! its web had a unique pattern which was the fisrt thing i noticed it hada perfect circle web where it sat in the middle. ok the letter X will represt the spider...Z

thats how the web kinda looked the spider was sitting in the center with its leg together so it looke like it only had 4 legs or it was in a perfect x, then verticalay above and below in perfect straight lines it had a zig zag patern perfect along with its body, surrounded by the web, i have no idea but its a cool spider!

cool thats it! thanks! it has to be one the most coolest orbweavers i've ever found! it ate a small moth tonight, i love the colors on this thing i hope its a gravid female--Jeff

Argiopes are cooool, very beautiful spiders if you ask me,...:D

I had been wondering what the green lynx species was. I found one on my porch a while back! We have tons of orbweavers here in North Carolina as well! Thanks for posting the link!
