What kind of invert would be happy in this enclosure?

My Frog Grew out this enclosure and I am contemplating to get something new for my office so I was thinking about invertebrates as they tend to be not as care intensive as a little reptile, gecko or similar. Granted, the frog isn’t exactly high maintenance either. I once had a variety of local millipedes, isopods, snails etc. in there but I would love something a bit bigger to contrast the microfauna. I am looking for bioactive setup. Right now I have white isos, springtails and earthworms in there, as well as one or two itsy bitsy spiders, webbing their little webs.

It is front opening measures approximately 12 x 12 x 18“ it has ventilation in the back but no cross ventilation so from what I gather tarantulas probably won‘t be happy in there.

I love centipedes and am contemplating getting a scolopendra again and I am open for any suggestions

Yeah I love these guys but alas I think the enclosure would be too small and I am looking more in the direction of invertebrate as they tend to be less demanding in terms of day to day husbandry.

Add a big piece of bark and a mature pokie. No centipedes, door gaps look like they have gaps. I am guessing you are getting cross ventilation from front to back with those doors.
Centipedes would get out of that enclosure.

I looked into them the short lifespan is kind of a turn off, but at the same time it would be a good way to see if they are for me.

A P. Metallica would be super cool but I read on here they are not really beginner friendly, so far I have only one small Hamoori and I am not sure I am ready yet but it is tempting for sure.

I found some local shops that have mature and subadult females for sale, holding off until christmas time when I have some more time to think and prepare for any critter.

I had an adult sc. dehaani in there before, didnt fit through the gaps, but I think any smaller would be a problem. Had a lock on the doors for that guy back then, just to make sure he wouldnt pry them open. Fascinating animals!

Makes sense - P mets are NOT beginner species, you’ve read correctly.

Saw a bunch of Phyliidae today at the Petshop, they are only 12 bucks and would be a lovely addition, on top of that for the unsuspecting observer they would remain invisible which would make for great office pets, as the vivarium would pass as a simple planted one. I might have found a good next habitant. Will look them up further and see which exact species they have.
