So, im sure youve had this a hundred times, but im not really a true spider guy, however, i was just wondering if anyone knew the latin (or even a common) name for the famous spider that almost instantly makes a web to wrap its prey in, rather than the normal strike..
Any ideas?

Thanks, i think its the Deinopidae or Net Casting Spider i was looking for.
Does anyone know if these are available in the European market?

hi,

as far as i know not at present time.
before a few years some was available, a friend of mine was breeding them for a while but than the breed was breaking in, because lack of males in F2 or F3.
i'm interessted in have some the same like you, in case you know something please let me know ;)
