What is wrong?

my T has still not eaten! it has its against the glass, it has a water dish, i have it in potting soil, i put in 1 cricket, is it bad to touch him or move him around? i have him in a pretty small petpal, do you think he wants something else besides crickets? maybe a superworm? he has not eaten in 5 days, i think its in pre-moult, i am getting it a bigger cage, and i will buy it bed-a-beast substrate, and i hope its better, thanks,

Don't worry about it.

1. Make sure temperature is comfortable
2. Get yourself another spider. Simply because spiders do better when they are not watched or tweaked with all the time. It is stressfull on them. 5 days is nothing.
3. it will munch when it wants to munch
4. if you really think its in premoult I would advise against changing housing. untill after it moults

As long as you have an open water dish and good ventilation then your T not eating doesnt say anything one way or the other. Ive had T's go on 6 month long fasts, so as long as they are hydrated(healthy, plump abdomen) then it should be fine. If your T flips on its back it means its molting(so dont touch it) However if all its legs curl beneath it it most likely dead.

also, your T isnt like a dog or a cat. For an animal that spends 95% of its lifetime sitting around waiting for food, 5 days isnt much of a pass.

I have a friend that went away on a three week trip, she was very concerned because many of her t's had not eaten for weeks.....I kind of had a feeling she was keeping them too cool, and sure enough after a week in my herp/invert room at temps of up to 90 they all had started eating again.
