What is this?

A member over at ReefCentral took a picture of this at the Shedd Aquarium. I'm not 100% sure its even a spider, although I would find it hard to believe its not. Is it a tarantula? If not what is it and what is the scientific name?

Looks fake to me to, maybe it was just there for display reasons, looks like they tried to mimic a true spider of some sort not a tarantula.
