What is this beetle

So, I found this big ground beetle while looking for carabus granulatus ground beetles at my local forest.

All I know that it is in the carabus family and it is some sort of violet ground beetle.
It also could be gravid since it’s abdomen is big and a bit white.
Found in Toronto, Canada
Here is the picture I took it may not look that violet because of the lighting IMG_2605.jpeg

Looks like some species of large carabid, I've seen the same with the purplish elytrum edge.

I'd say it is likely Carabus nemoralis, which is native to Europe but has been introduced to and is thriving in North America.

I have searched up some pictures and it looks the most like carabus nemoralis
