Hello all! I noticed something on my little G. Pulchripes that looks a bit reflective and flaky, and is mainly on part of it's abdomen. Any ideas?
p.s. it has also started making a little web in it's home, but is still eating regularly.
It's normal for slings to eat right up to a molt, even the day before. As they get bigger, they will start refusing food for longer periods of time before a molt.
Awesome! Hopefully I am in for a treat soon then . It is getting a darker abdomen, and it looks a bit shiny. As much as it eats, there should be a substantial growth!
So the abdomen appears a bit darker, and it hasn't eaten in about a week now. It's still climbing to the top corner of it's container to get to the warmer spot of it's enclosure. It is plenty warm in there, and I am just hoping for a molt soon! Does anyone have any pictures of a G. pulchripes sling right before a molt?
