My friend likes bugs, but can't buy any, so I thought I might help him out.
Instead of looking for the absolute cheapest centipede you can find, focus on finding a healthy animal within your price range. Sure you can go out and buy a wild caught subspinipes for dirt cheap, but it probably won’t last very long. There’s plenty of good sellers in the classifieds section, and if I were you, I’d find a CB juvenile from one of them.My friend likes bugs, but can't buy any, so I thought I might help him out.
That's actually a decent budget. If you shop around smart and ask the vendors "in the know", you can find a really nice giant centipede pling or even rare exotic asian species pling, including shipping.$130 and below.
Hit up @Triprion for a Scolopendra Heros locale. He's got a decent collection usually. I wouldn't buy your friend a Subspinipes or Dehaani if this is going to be their first centipede.$130 and below.
