how big is she? only asking because some ts like g. actaeon (whicht it resembles a bit) change colour till they are adults. my actaeon only lost the red hairs at 6"!

I'm gonna say a Grammostola spp.

I have the species name for the Grammostola on my tongue, but can't get it. I'll look it up when I get back from school, unless someone figures it out by then.

EDIT: Grammostola Actaeon or Grammostola Iheringi

Shes around 18cm legspan or so. Its not a Grammostola
I think it might be a Lasiodora itabunae

i had a second look at that pic and you are right - it's not a grammostola spec.

I think it might be a Lasiodora itabunae
Well you can see the T in person, so the only thing I can do is agree with you. Pictures tend to decieve.

do megaphobema velvetosoma have the leg markings like that? just an idea(thinking of t's with black bodies and red butts, gotta be a lot of those out there)

In the description for itabunae it says it have violet stripes on the legs, which this one have. Fiery red abdominal setae fits too.
