What am I?

My neighbor just brought me this nice big beetle today, and wanted me to tell him what it is. Well, I have no idea! But someone here might!
So here he is, found in western Oregon, near the coast range, elevation 150ft, on a screen at his house.
It's about 2" long on the body. Hopefully someone can help!

Looks like Cerambycidae (longhorn beetle) genus Prionus (sometimes called root borers). My beetle taxonomy isn't great and the picture is a little blurred but I'm semi confident on that genus.

I'd agree with that - its a Prionus species
