Having never been to one, made the two hour drive to Las Vegas and perused the Las Vegas Reptile Show. Sure enough, there were a number of really nice tarantulas so don't cha know, found one that I simply couldn't live another moment without! 
Got a really lovely, 4", (conservative estimate) Aphonopelma chalcodes!! Yea!!! Considering their rate of growth, I'll probably not live long enough to determine it's sex. Bought it from, ta daaa - Aaron Pauling! I was thrilled to actually meet a name I see here on AB! Double thrill is that jmugleston was standing right there at Aaron's booth so met him too! I was almost speechless. When he told me his screen name, I believe I uttered something stupid like "You gotta be kidding me!" :wall: Oh well... The show was great! I was so impressed with the number of kids there. Hope some of them like spiders.
