Found this gorgeous thing on a picnic table in Michigan. She (?) was quite the charmer!

Phidippus Regius, is that right?

The one photo is of my thumb for a size reference. One of them is of her hunting, she would peek her eyes over the edge of the table, really cute :)

::edit:: I think she is a P. audax (bold jumper), not a P. regius.

Lol great pics. I love these guys. They have no fear and act like they are the size of black bears. Plus IMO they actually interact with u. :)

She was very fun and photogenic :) I love how they will look right at you, every time I moved to take a photo she would look up to see what I was doing.

Definitely a gravid audux, looks pretty close to laying her sac. Give her a mealworm, water, and some space and you'll have a hundred little ones on your hands.
