Today I bought enclosures online for two tarantulas. Ready to buy the species I wanted, I started browsing. The person who I use to get Ts from sold out of this species but forgot to update it on the website. Then I found an other person with the same species at a better price. I was ready to purchase; everything seemed perfect. This was until he told me that shipping to my state was illegal due to strict laws. Looks like I need to wait until the next reptile expo. :banghead:
Anyone else live in a strict state like this?

Wow, I had no idea outer space had such strict legislation.

That's a bummer. I haven't had to deal with anything like that yet, just some folks who won't send any roaches to TN because a couple species are illegal. No big deal there though--my Ts and I are a mealworm family.

Everybody knows that you can only send dogs and monkeys into space .

Seriously though what state are we talking about ?

So the Russians won't haul a tarantula to you in the ISS? Damn NASA for outsourcing the work...

I didn't know any states had laws against shipping tarantulas in or out. What state?
