I've gone and bought myself another pet...This time it only has four legs and is warm blooded. Yay for rats. Named him Tootsie Pop since he likes to lick. He just gave me too many kisses and I had to take him home :8o

you should really get him a friend, rats are social animals and fair MUCH better in captivity if there are two of them.

I used to breed them back in the day. I actually managed an orange haired, red eye morph. Haven't seen one before or since. Intelligent creatures. They pee on their feet though

Jason my cat bothers my Ts and scorp so he's not in my room in the first place. I will get a friend for him I just haven't found one that I like thus far. He was a kinda-kinda not spur of the moment buy tonight. I've been thinking about getting a rat for a while and he just made me make up my mind. In the meantime, he will get plenty of socialization. I also don't want to get him a friend right away until he destresses from the buy/sell/transfer/new cage event and also the move to my apartment I'll be making this weekend.
