Well I did it...got me some Ivories

With thanks to SFA's post of little Giselle's adorable face, I couldn't resist and got two Florida Ivories! They are such busy bodies, always wandering around and when I open the front door they cruise right on out! It was a challenge to get one to stay still enough for a photo! They are so different from my lumbering O ornatus.

That fungus is the thing of dreams. Do the millipedes chew on it?

The branch with fungus fell from an old oak tree in my yard. It was too cool to pass up. I have seen them munch on it a little. I don't think they were as impressed as I was with the find though

My girlfriend got some at the reptile show yesterday. They are really cool lil guys and girls. Seemed to be enjoying their new home last night.
