weird but coll usumbara sling

i checked my obt's cage this morning and saw that it had made a trapdoor its so cool is this normal has this ever happened to anyone else

well with mine it makes a burrow and then covers it with webbing. But doesnt make an actual trap door like trap door spiders. But every morning before I go in he has always covered the entrance pretty much so that I cant see in.
