Weather-related behavior?

Just an observation. I live in the sonoran desert. Today (monsoon season) is cloudy, windy, rainy and just humid in general.

All our tarantulas (Chilean Roses and our Aphonopelmas) are out and restless, roaming their cages up down and all around!

It's weird, kinda freaky.

Is this common with weather changes?

can be:? though i dont think there are any real scientific studies on it though or at lest none that i have seen that weren't just hypothetical....

it could be because in the wild this usually means flooding soo they might be searching for higher ground???? its worth looking into though...i'd buy that for a dollar lol......

That makes some sense. They seem to be tending to hit the top of their cages (moving up). My little Chilean Rose (Jitter) is almost frantically poking his legs through the vents at the top.

Although not a T, my horses will be very restless during that type of weather. They are tucked away in an enclosed barn, and have very little exposure to the weather, but somehow they still know.
