Sorry for posting so much, but im posting things that i cant find the answer to. I have looked at alot of posts and cant get a great answer so, does anyone have recommendations on what water to use for millepedes? I am getting a florida ivory millepede (kinda soon) and i would like to know what water to use? People say no to tap water, and distilled, so what should i use? Some people recommended reptile/fish water treatments into a jug of tap water, but also i would like a brand so i dont get a bad one, anyone know what water is best? Or atleast what you use for your own millepedes?

I use rainwater primarily, but when I cant get that, I just go for distilled. And if not distilled, I use tap water with API dechlorinater mixed in, but im more hesitant to use it because I dont know what happens if I overdose the water.

Oh ok! I thought distilled was bad? People say it isnt recommended but it'd be easier since i always have distilled at my house anyways.

I used bottled spring water for all of my inverts. In most stores it is sold labeled specifically as spring water as opposed to distilled water and purified water (purified is essentially just bottled tap water and should not be used). I just use the gallon jugs of whatever brand is available, in the US it is often big name brands like crystal geyser and ice mountain, or the store brand of wherever I happen to be shopping also works fine, as long as it is labeled spring water (and of course is not flavored or carbonated or anything like that).

Agreed to this. My spiders prefer Poland Spring though.

It’s probably better than what I use filtered tap water with a water softener .

Distilled water is not good for many if not almost all animals because ions are removed.

I import glacial water from Tibet. Hand carved from ancient glaciers and melted by the thighs of virgin women on a full moon.
