what do u think of the water dish, is it too high for the Tarantula to notice? should i push it more into the substrate? people adviced me to make sure the T gets easy access to a water dish, is this ok? thank you in advance

btw the T is 3cm legspan. while the water dish is about 1/2 inch in height...

It should be just fine..... you can make the dish more level with the substrate if you want but I find that all that happens when you do that is the substrate gets moved a little by the T and hangs in the water dish and all the water gets soaked into the substrate. You will end up having to pull the dish more often to clean it out and refill it instead of just filling it.

Ts can figure out where water is especially if they want to get some.

Ha its actually pretty funny. It kinda looks like they are trying to drown themselves, and ever since my sister saw my A.seemanni drinking she thought it was commiting suicide and won't stop talking about it to this day. Everyday she comes into my room and sees me feeding or doing maintance with my Ts, shes like, "your tarantula tryed killing itself, they don't like you."
