IMG_2527.JPG My A. seemanni has been in premolt for a while now. I'm watching his "butt" get balder and balder by the day. He's started laying down a molt mat and hangs out in that spot 24/7 now. I know it will be soon so I'm getting excited. Watching this reminds me of how much I love this hobby and it never gets old. It's like tarantula Christmas. I dunno, just thought I'd share

Hate to break it to you, but that spider is not in premolt. Hair kicking isn't in itself a sign of premolt.
Keep offering food. I bet it'll accept it.

It's not in premolt. Just because it's not in premolt don't mean it will accept food. They can go long periods of time without eating.
