Hey guys, so I live in Ponte Vedra, Florida. I want to go out and look for vinegaroons because they are supposedly throughout Florida, But is that true? I have been looking under logs but I've never seen any. Also is there any particular place/time I can find them, like at a scrub or after it rains?

No personal experience, but:

Apparently they prefer arid areas. Remember, just because you haven't seen it yet, doesn't mean it isn't there. It took me years to see my first tiger beetle and Phiddipus regius, even though they're really quite common where I live. It's largely an issue of practice.

I believe that the he US species is only found in areas of the SouthWest. AZ/NM.
