I'm going to ask a couple questions, and hopefully when i wake up i see answers xD

1. How deep should the substrate be?

2. How do you sex these guys?

3. Mating advice?

4. What substrate should i use for egg laying?

Hope I can get some answers :astonished:

1. Several inches, preferably a sand/clay mix they can shape their burrows out of.
2. pass
3. Put them together but keep an eye on them since they can get aggressive.
4. They live birth, so the substrate you keep them in normally in is fine.

I'd give at least 5inches for adults. Do search for sexing, you will find pics. Use hard surfaces for mating, I use flat rocks, a pair together and watch the weirdness begin. They carry a sac full of eggs underneath their abdomen. At first it's full of eggs and fluid, over the days the fluid either evaporates through the egg sac or is absorbed by the eggs, maybe some of both, I don't know if anybody knows the answer to that. Then the membrane looks like it tightly hugs the eggs. The female normally stays in a chamber she makes until the eggs hatch, it's not normal to see a vinegaroon walking around in the open with an eggsac. I had one that over-wintered with eggs for almost 9 months, then I recently had one that had babies within a couple of months, same sps.
