Vietnamese medicine for pede venom

A vietnamese man came into my work today and recognized a picture of a giant centipede an orange leg to be exact. He told me that when he lived back in his old country that they used to use chicken saliva on on these bites to dumb down the swelling. Has anyone but me actually heard of this. Do you think that maybe chicken saliva naturally reacts with pede venom.

wow thats wierd. they are really poisonous, but rarely ever fatal. hell, i would rub chicken spit on a bite if i had some to aleviate the pain. hehe cool story though.
