VIETNAMESE TIGER (C paganus) Mating Pair PHOTOS

Here is the male. He is much smaller and he lacks tibial spurs but his palpal bulbs are quite obvious. He is also much lighter in color.

Very cool spiders, mean I bet.
Have they been together yet? Did you raise them both?
He hasn't much of a chance to make a run for it without hooks to hold her off, does he?
Anyway, good luck with the breeding, hope you get a eggcase.:D

The one girl that I have raised is going to stay away from him for a while but I already tried putting him with the new girl i got. I took him out soon after. i want her to be more acclimated to her conditions before she has to start making babies.

That female doesn't look like the bluish-yellow C. paganus I sometimes see...

I wish this genus were straightened out, because it and haplopelma still confuse the s^&t out of me.

cool pics! I get confused too. So confused in fact, I refuse to buy the Asian species till I figure out what the heck is what. After Martin's wonderful thread, I STILL don't know!
