This is an interesting video I recently watched of a male jumping spider attempting to court a potential mate through a variety of bizarre taps, hops, and leg-stretches.

I'm not sure whether the audio is authentic or added; I believe it is the former as Wikipedia's entry on the spider states that it has been discovered that many jumping spiders may have auditory signals as well, with amplified sounds produced by the males sounding like buzzes or drum rolls. It sounds like an engine idling!

I used to have a whole series of these with different species downloaded on an old computer. They rival the "birds of paradise" with their awesome dances!
