Viable food?

I caught a few cockroaches yesterday and was considering feeding them to my A. avicularia. In the mean time, however, I find my mind analyzing the fact that the apartment claims to spray for insects on a monthly basis; though the roaches seem to be evidence to the contrary. Anyhow, I figured I would ask here before disposing of the roaches by some other means. Is it likely, or at all possible, that the cockroaches might be carrying a contaminant from pesticides or some other household materials that would make them unsuitable as a possible treat for my tarantula?

I'm pretty sure most roaches can tolerate the sprays that us humans spray to kill them and to keep them out of our homes. I would definately not feed any WC roaches to my Ts, could end up killing your T.

Good job then! Just stick to CB prey items, it'll be the best thing for you and for your Ts.
