he still has baby colors. How big is he? It looks to young to tell for sure. also, there is a spicific thred for sexing

At that size I wouldnt want to take a stab at it. Mainly because with this species/genus they can almost seem to "switch sexes" lol. I had one I swore was male up until it reached 3 inches, then it was clearly female, and later confirmed via molt.

It's about 1 1/4 inches, I figured it was too young but wasn't sure. I noticed the sexing section right after I posted this haha :wall:
