Ventilation question.

I got some of these awesome containers to house arboreal slings in. The lids have vent holes with this filter paper stuff (forget the name of it) on them. Im wondering if air can get through these for the slings to breathe. Im thinking yes, but I just want to be sure. Here are some pictures.

I've kept a 2" Brachypelma boehmei in one of those for over a year. Careful with the smaller ones though. They might chew through the paper if they try hard enough.
