My B. vagans walled in the entrance to its hide and its been like that for a few days now. Ive read that many will do that when they are about to molt but I cant tell if its actually molting or it just walled himself in. Should I be putting food in there? If hes not molting I dont want him to starve but if he is then I dont want to disturb him. Any suggestions?

Don't worry about it, ours wall themselves up for weeks it seems. They appear eventually when they are hungry. If you dig them out you will find they are quite happy under there. We have slings and a sub adult and they all do it.

You can offer food by placing it in its incloser.Dont dig it out to place food in its burrow. I havent seen my 3/4" Vagan surface in weeks However the crickets I offer are never seen again. It will come out when its hungry, usually at night. Nothing to be concerned about.
