My uncle found a Southern Devil Scorpion in his yard yesterday and caught it for me. I'm thinking about keeping it, at least for a little while to observe, and would appreciate some feedback on its habitat. I've set it up in a medium Kritter Keeper style enclosure with about an inch of mostly coco fiber substrate. I have half of the enclosure moist and half dry. I used cork bark and leaf litter for hides and used a milk jug cap for a water dish. Am I missing anything? Any other tips appreciated, as well.

Looks great. This species as within as most devil/stripe Tail scorpions are very active and vicious eaters. So esnure they are fed at regular intervals. I feed mine 2-3 times a week. In fact mine is eating now!

Thanks for the info! I'll make sure and keep it well fed.
