Just curious how to care for these guys. They seem like they're communal and they're also relatively small which is a definite plus. Also, what's their maximum size?
I usually find them in batches around the property, so I'm assuming they are communal by nature. Max size (for north carolina anyway) I've found is maybe an inch and half on the high end. Pretty small little guys overall.
Pretty sure my friend has them in his collection, and the enclosure is pretty much what you'd find outside here in NC -- a mix of bark chips, potting soil and leaf litter. Throwing them in the red clay would have been cruel But yeah, other than that -- he has some hides and keeps it around 78. I can ask him for more info later tonight
They are communal. Leaf litter over soil with plenty of little hides-flat bark, etc and you’re in business. Keep a moisture gradient and fair amount of humidity but not soaking wet.
