I want to vacuum the room that my tarantula walk in closet is in..will this disturb them too much? and is it much more convient for them if I do it at night since they are nocturnal anyway? or can i do it anytime???

Vacuuming doesn't seem to bother mine. While I am sure they can feel the vibrations, they can't hear it.

As long as you aren't knocking the vacuum up against their enclosures, or whatever their enclosures are resting on, you shouldn't have a problem.

you should get down on your knees and pick up all the lint and dirt particles with your fingers... ;)

vacuum away dude...if you're worried about disturbing them move the tanks out of the room while you vacuum.

Or get a 'Henry' style vacuum cleaner so you you can be doin the biz with the tubey extention bit, leaving the noisy vibrating motor bit outside the room. Then the T's couldn't care less.

Whenever I or my wife turn on the vacuum anywhere near my Ts the
Avics start moving around nervously. They don't settle down till well
after the vacuuming stops.
