i had this V. spinigerus for already 5 months. Now it is on its 4I & its already a month & 16days since its last molt & i'm just wondering if this is normal. How many instar would it take to reach its maturity, sexually to be exact? thanks!!!

Here are some of the pics taken last January 17, 2007! Sorry for the quality...

V.spinigerus are really slow growers, my 2nd instars were born last october, a few molted 2 3rd instar last december. Still waiting for a few others to molt. Same goes with my V.confusus.

Hi,

my fastest one took less than 1 1/2 years. However, some of the siblings aren´t even adult after 2 1/4 years. According to my experience Vaejovis spp in general are really slowly growing, although V. spinigerus has been the fastest growing Vaejovis sp I´ve raised so far.
