So when feeding my B. albiceps today, she kicked a cloud of hairs and unfortunately my face was pretty close.
Strangely my hands were closest and no reaction at all.
I immediatly took a shower, and rinsed my eyes repeatedly. They are a little irritated but since i suffer from dry eyes, not surprising. My shoulders and arms were bare, no reaction.
I looked into the mirror and i saw a tiny black thing on my cornea. I freaked and went to the ER, standing outside as im typing this.
Doctor numbed my eye en swabbed it with a q tip. He also used dye which reacts with UV light but he saw nothing particular aside from the whole cornea being lightly damaged (he asked if i rubbed my eyes a lot).
Tldr: b. albo kicked about 0,5meters from me, eyes slightly irritated, but no redness, no stinging sensation and no watery eyes. Did i dodge a bullet here?
Also question for the people unfortunate enough to get them in your eyes, were the effects immediate? What were the effects?
This could possibly be me freaking out due to the combination of t kicking, my having dry eyes and reacting slightly hypochondriac.
