Don't increase the humidity too much. 1st, G.rosea's like it on the dryer side. 2nd, increasing humidity during the molt has no effect whatsoever apart from stressing your T if it comes from misting. It's the overall humidity level that counts between molts and not directly at the molting period.Okay, thanks. I've increased humidity a bit. This is the first time she's moulted since I've had her, I'm quite nervous!
The proper term is "exuvium". You'll hear some people call it a "molt" but while that's fine for casual conversation I guess, it's not the correct word to use.Hey, just a quick update, she moulted fine Her old 'skin' (don't know the proper word for it!) got a bit damaged in the process, but I'm going to try and work out whether she's male or female from it. She's the RCF G. rosea, and is lovely and bright now! Thanks for your help.
