unknown mantis sp.

Today i have found weard sp. of mantis while i was lifting over some rocks.
I know that in the area i live (Slovenia/Central Europe) there are only two sp. of mantis (matis religiosa and empusa pennata=this one is very rare). But the one i found looks nothing like two sp. listed above (i asume she is full grown female, 3,5 cm long, brown, with very small wings that cover 1/5 of the abdomen) Maybe there is another species of european mantis leaving in my contry that i am not aware of. Pics are coming ASAP....

No idea! But maybe it's a new species for your country! :)
It definitely looks like a fertilized female; she'll probably lay eggs soon! :D

Ameles sp. :)
Might of been just recently fed on something large, although a wc adult female has a good chance of being mated, only one way to find out :)
Try posting the same photo on here, might get to know what the actual species is :)
