It's beautiful. :) But the color might change with the age. Boa c. are usually lighter in color as babys and yours does not look like it is older than 1 year.

I like the pale head in particular. Almost remind me of my hog island boa. :)

I can never teel hog island and red tail boa's apart! (unless i see the tail obviosly)
The colouration is very nice on her

Hog Island boas are red tail boas. They are just hypomelanistic.

Here is my Hog Island imperator. The difference should be obvious. :)

Actually, she's quite the opposite. She's a 2004 female, she's getting lighter with age.
Here is a picture from a year ago, she was quite average.



She looks like a totally different snake!

That is very interesting! I would never have guessed. Do you have a better and larger picture from last year? How long is she? She doesn't look very big on the first pictures, for a 2 year old animal. Actually it looks pretty much the same size of my Hog Island yearling.
