A few days before I posted a thread to id a spider that I had caught, it proved to be a Steatoda Paykulliana. So, I have "her" in big jar with a few sticks where she has built her web. So, she's been doing good.
Anyway, I threw in there one of those bugs that curl up to a ball when u scare them (pill bugs?) that made it to the bottom of the jar where there's some soil. I didn't care much to remove it as I though it might even clean the remainings of the spider's meals.
So, I took a peak today to find a pinkish pile of EGGS on the soil!!!
The question is: Are those the spider's or the bug's?
Now, the spider is over the eggs as if she's eating them.....

I would have to say the eggs are from the pill bug. The Steatoda should construct an egg sac like the true spiders do. I've never heard of a spider laying it's eggs on the substrate.

Not really, mines are a lot more pink. But I guess the bugs must be different----->different eggs

So, I checked back , and here's what I saw.
Right above the place where the eggs where, I can see sth like a cloud of silk. It's not an eggsack,(its tooo small) but I can see 3-4 eggs in there!!!

BTW, I can see some mold in there, should I change the soil???
